Coronavirus Precautions Partners In Care

Last week Partners In Care developed an Infection Control Dept. who has been carefully monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and proceeding with all employees’ and clients’ best interest in mind. We are aware that elderly and those with certain underlying conditions are the most at risk from the virus, and are taking steps to minimize exposure and keep everyone safe.

Our caregivers have been educated on precautions to decrease the spread of COVID-19 and directed to wash their hands immediately upon entering a client’s home and then frequently throughout their shift. Handwashing can be supplemented with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

We have implemented a self-screening process for caregivers per CDC and Placer County Guidelines. Caregivers are notifying us and are not reporting to work sick. They must be symptom-free for 24-hours before they can return. They are reporting client illnesses to the office as well. If at any point a caregiver comes in contact with a client showing symptoms of COVID-19, they will not be assigned to other clients until they have been cleared.

The safest place our clients can be right now is at home, and we are navigating these challenging circumstances to the best of our ability in order to help keep them there.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office. Please be safe and we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to be of service to you!
